Emilio and Elisabeth graduated from the School of Missions at Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas, in 2003. In 2004 they returned to Emilio’s home, Belize.
Liz is from New York. She had been a missionary in Belize where she met and married Emilio. They have two lovely daughters.
The Zabaneh's run The Independence Youth Center which is a Christian youth center where un-churched kids from all over the town can hang out, play games, learn computer skills and experience the love of Christ. As well, Emilio and Liz teach in the Sunday school classes at their church and take youth on short-term mission trips. They are well on their way to developing a mentoring program with several young people who continue to frequent the youth center.
