Susana Walker

Back Mozambique, Africa

Susana Walker is a single, young, Brazilian woman in her twenties, who graduated from the School of Missions at Christ For The Nations in 2001. At age 19, she launched out into missions in Mozambique, Africa. Though she was young, she was fully prepared to work under the care and supervision of Rod and Ellie Hein, founders of Afrika wa Yesu (Africa For Jesus), in Inhaminga, Mozambique.
Susana served immediately as a Bible school teacher because she was fluent in Portuguese as well as English. (In Mozambique the official language is Portuguese.) She took many evangelism treks through the bush speaking the good news of Jesus. She has been with the Heins for several years.
She recently transitioned and has begun working with another couple of the same ministry, Jeff and Nicky Reetz. Together they are planting a discipleship school in Nacala which is in northern Mozambique. In this largely Muslim region, they are winning souls to Christ and establishing them in the Word of God. Those students who qualify and wish to continue their studies are sent on to the Bible School at Inhaminga.
