It’s not often I am able to travel abroad, due to so many “home-bound “ commitments. Being a wife and mother certainly are top priorities!  But recently I was given an invitation to accompany a seasoned minister to the Czech Republic. With Rod’s encouragement I will step out of the norm for two weeks in July and travel with my good friend Sharon Hobbs.

Sharon has made a yearly trek to the Czech Republic for the past three years. She has become a vital source of teaching, evangelism, and much needed encouragement for many pastors there. As well she has touched the hearts of a small Gypsy community.

Together we will be ministering at 3 churches, encouraging the leadership as well as the church members. We will also minister to the children– Czech and Gypsy alike. Please pray for us as we teach, encourage and build up the body of Christ.

As you have seen in the past few months the Island of Haiti weathered a bloody coup. Our Pastors Training School was placed on hold during the uprising and bloodshed. It was considerably dangerous for them to travel to Port Au Prince to attend the school. Though deterred for a time the school has resumed classes as of April 26th.

Under the direction of Pastor and Mrs. Ellie twenty-three pastors are provided transportation to the World Harvest Ministry compound. Each month they receive a five day, intensive Bible training from the International School of Ministry curriculum. The pastors enjoy the training as well as the fellowship they have with each other over the meals provided for them.

It is our joy to underwrite this Intensive Pastors training!

For $175. per month GeoBound partners furnish transportation costs, curriculum, two meals per day, and gas to run the generator. Thank you for providing training for these pastors!

As the country becomes more stable and  travel warnings are lifted it is Rod’s desire to return to Haiti. There is so much more to do!
