Fasting Prayer for First Peoples

Praying for the Nations

Heavenly Father, I come before You in the name of Jesus, remembering His words in Mark 11:17: "My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations." Lord, I understand that Your house is not just a building, but it is where Your people gather to seek You, whether in churches, homes, or even in our hearts. You have called us to be a people of prayer, lifting every nation before You. I ask that You fill me with a heart that prays for the nations, that I would intercede for those who need Your salvation, healing, and restoration. Let my prayers be pleasing to You, and may they reach this Native American nation(s), drawing this people group closer to Your love. Lord, I specifically ask You to guide me in prayer for this Native American nation(s). You know their history, their struggles, and their future. I ask for revival among them, that Your Spirit would move in their communities and bring healing where there has been brokenness. Raise up leaders and believers among them who will carry the gospel with boldness and faith. Let their language(s), culture, and traditions reflect Your glory, and may their homes become places of worship and prayer. Teach me how to stand with them in faith, love, and unity, so that together I can see Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Your Kingdom Come Your Will be Done

Father, I also come before You in obedience to Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:10, praying as He taught us: "Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." I lift this Native American nation(s) before You, asking that Your kingdom would come in power among them. Let Your righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit fill their lands, homes, and hearts. I’m following Jesus’ directive in prayer, standing in agreement with His will, believing that You desire to bring salvation, healing, and restoration to every tribe and community. I ask for strongholds of darkness to be broken, for open doors for the gospel, and for disciples to rise with boldness and faith. Let there be a great move of Your Spirit, bringing revival that will spread from generation to generation. May this nation(s) shine as a testimony of Your goodness, declaring Your glory to all the earth.

Prayer and Fasting

Heavenly Father, I come before You in humility, knowing that some strongholds can only be broken with prayer and fasting, just as Jesus said in Matthew 17:21, “However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.” Based on Your words Lord and my fasting I lift this Native American nation(s) to You, asking for breakthrough and transformation. Lord, remove every barrier that has held back revival and restoration. As I fast and pray, align my heart with Your will, and let Your presence move mightily among the Native communities. Just as Jesus fasted in the wilderness before beginning His ministry (Matthew 4:2), we seek You with the same devotion, believing that You will pour out Your Spirit, bringing healing, salvation, and renewal.

Praying the Lord of the Harvest

I pray for a great harvest of souls among this Native American nation(s). Move on them, Lord, that they may rise to impact America and the tribes of the earth with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Lord Jesus, I pray as You directed us to pray in Luke 10:2: “The harvest is great, but the laborers are few; therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” In obedience to Your Word, I ask You to send workers from this Native American nation(s)—men and women filled with the Holy Spirit—to carry Your message of salvation. Let them go with boldness, proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ, praying for the sick, and ministering to those in need. May they be vessels of healing and hope, shining Your light in every place You send them.

Lord Jesus, You alone are the Lord of the harvest! I lift Your name as Savior and King of Kings, and I commit myself to working alongside You in bringing souls into Your kingdom. I pray for a great awakening and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon these believers, empowering them to be witnesses in their families, communities, and nations. As I follow Your directive to pray for laborers, I ask that You also establish discussion learning groups for discipleship, where believers can grow in faith, study Your Word, and be strengthened in their calling. Also, raise up NAI Bible Training programs to equip and prepare these laborers for the harvest, that they may be rooted in truth and ready to fulfill the Great Commission. Guide me in this harvest work, Lord, and let Your will be done.

Hungering for Righteousness

Lord, I thank You for this time of fasting and prayer for this Native American nation(s). You have given me a promise in Matthew 5:6: “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.” I stand on this promise and ask that You stir a deep hunger and thirst for Your righteousness in this nation(s). Let hearts be drawn to Your Word, and may a passion for prayer, discipleship, and revival arise among them. Fill them with Your Spirit, Lord, and let this season of fasting bear fruit that will last for generations. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
